Based at our Berlin headquarters, you will be part of our Finance team, reporting into the Director Accounting, Tax and Treasury, playing a key role in ensuring that our financial strategies align with our rapid growth and dynamic environment.

Your mission

• Define and Execute Treasury Strategy: Set and drive GetYourGuide's global treasury vision, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives, capital structure, and risk management framework. Act as a thought leader, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize treasury value.
• Liquidity & Funding Management: Oversee and safeguard liquidity across all global entities and currencies, ensuring sufficient funding for operational and strategic needs. Lead short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting, and develop innovative financing strategies to support business expansion.
• Investment & Risk Management: Design and implement investment policies that maximize returns while managing risk. Take ownership of FX exposure, interest rate risk, and counterparty risk, deploying effective hedging and mitigation strategies in a dynamic, multi-currency environment.
• Cash & Process Optimization: Lead the optimization of cash management processes, including cash pooling, banking structures, and treasury platforms. Champion process automation, digitalization, and the adoption of best-in-class treasury technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
• Governance & Reporting: Maintain robust internal controls and ensure accurate, timely treasury reporting, analysis, and forecasting for executive leadership. Support internal and external audits, and drive a culture of compliance and transparency.
• Strategic Projects: Play a key role in the rollout of capital markets standards, governance improvements, and the implementation of new treasury systems and tools. Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance GetYourGuide's financial infrastructure.
• Banking & Compliance: Build and nurture strategic relationships with global banking partners and financial institutions. Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and all relevant regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Supplier Payouts: Oversee and optimize the end-to-end process for supplier and partner payouts, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective disbursements to GetYourGuide's global network of experience creators. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance payout efficiency, support partner satisfaction, and continuously improve related processes.
• Leadership & Development: Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing treasury team. Foster a culture of impact, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring the team's growth and alignment with business outcomes.

Your toolkit

• Experienced Treasury Leader: You bring significant experience in leading treasury functions, ideally within fast-paced technology companies, banks, or financial institutions. You excel at developing and executing innovative treasury strategies that drive business value and support rapid growth.
• Expert in Treasury Operations: You have deep expertise in cash and liquidity management, financing, FX and interest rate risk (IRR) hedging, and global payments. You are adept at navigating the complexities of multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Strategic Business Partner: Your strong business acumen enables you to see the bigger picture, anticipate challenges, and deliver solutions that align with overall company objectives. You thrive in dynamic, scale-up environments and are comfortable managing ambiguity and change.
• Influential Communicator: You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. You translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical & Results-Driven: You demonstrate outstanding analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. You are resilient under pressure and maintain an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Digitally Savvy: You are proficient in ERP systems (such as SAP) and Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and stay close to emerging digital tools and technologies shaping the future of treasury management.
• Collaborative Team Player: You are receptive, approachable, and energized by working in a vibrant, diverse, and international team environment. You actively contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and success.
• Language Skills: You are fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
