Are you looking to connect theory with real-world engineering and explore concrete opportunities for your career development? Then join us for JE Future Innovators Program, a half-day workshop designed to introduce you to the technologies, culture, and people behind Johnson Electric. Our Aachen site plays a key role in developing advanced motion solutions for automotive and industrial applications — and we are always looking for motivated students to join us through thesis projects, internships, and working student positions. During the workshop, you will experience our Innovation Lab up close, meet our engineers, and discover how you can actively contribute to shaping the mobility solutions of tomorrow.

Your Profile

• You are a registered student (m/f/d) in an engineering-related field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, AI, or metallurgical engineering, or a comparable technical course of study.
• You are enrolled at a university in Aachen or the surrounding region.
• You have good proficiency in German, English, and ideally Chinese, both spoken and written.
• You are dynamic, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in technology, innovation, and hands-on industry exposure.

What We Can Offer

• Training & Skill Development – Participate in targeted mini-training sessions designed to enhance your technical and professional skills. Learn about motor technology, differential assembly, gear manufacturing processes, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) in gearboxes, and much more, gaining hands-on insights into key aspects of engineering.
• Certificate of Participation – Receive a certificate recognizing your active participation in the workshop.
• Job opportunities - Discover internship opportunities, working student roles, thesis topics, and long-term career development at Johnson Electric.
• Technology Insights – Understand how motors, actuators, gear solutions, and motion systems are developed, engineered, and manufactured.
• Guided Tour of Our Innovation Lab – Explore our Innovation Lab at the Johnson Electric Aachen office, see prototypes, test setups, and ongoing development work up close.
• Interactive sessions – Take part in hands-on activities, product demos, and engineering mini-challenges.
• Meet our team – Hear directly from engineers, project managers, and innovation leaders about real projects and career paths.
• Networking – Connect with other motivated students and exchange ideas in a professional but friendly environment.
• Q&A Session – Bring your questions about engineering, industry, or career planning — our team will be there to answer.

Your Tasks

• Participate actively in all workshop sessions, including presentations, technical discussions, and interactive activities.
• Engage in the Innovation Lab tour by observing prototypes, asking questions, and learning about our product development processes.
• Collaborate with other students during group tasks, engineering challenges, and problem-solving exercises.
• Provide feedback and share your insights on the workshop experience to help us improve future student programs.
