Stott and May are partnered with an early-stage startup that is building AI agents for industrial distributors and manufacturers to automate order processing and workflows. We are looking for a Founding Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping their product and technology stack from the ground up.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the founders to design and build features end-to-end, introduce new AI-driven capabilities, and integrate the product into customer IT systems. This is a high-energy, hands-on role where you'll be part of a small but driven team making high-impact decisions from day one. You'll prototype, iterate, and deploy rapidly, contribute to defining their engineering culture and architecture, and help steer the direction of the company's technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Build full-stack features:
    Develop and deliver core product functionality using TypeScript frontend and Python backend. Take features from idea to production, including UI, business logic, and cloud services.
  • Customer onboarding and implementation:
    Manage customer data integrations and ERP connections, gaining a deep understanding of each client's ERP setup and workflows.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the founding team and customers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Languages:
    You can communicate in both German and English at a fluent level.

    Python, Django, TypeScript, LLMs
