Freelance D365 F&O Functional Consultant

  • Location: Remote in Germany
  • Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension)
  • Project Focus: Retail transformation and D365 F&O rollout

You will be a key player in the successful deployment and adoption of D365 F&O, focusing on Finance, and Retail/POS modules.

Details:

  • Leading the analysis, design, configuration, and testing of D365 F&O modules.
  • Translating complex business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Supporting process optimisation across finance, supply chain, and retail operations.
  • Conducting fit-gap analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and go-live support.
  • Liaising with technical teams on integrations (Power Platform, Azure Services, and third-party retail systems).
  • Ensuring solution documentation and functional design adhere to best practices.
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams in English and German environments.

Your experience:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant specializing in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Expertise in configuring Finance, SCM, and Retail/POS modules.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • German language skills are a plus
  • Experience with retail project rollouts is preferred but not essential.
