Team Lead Accounting

We're looking for a skilled and hands-on Team Lead Accounting (m/f/d) to join one of the companies in the A11 ecosystem and take ownership of all accounting and financial operations—ranging from managing a growing finance team to delivering accurate reporting and driving financial decision-making in a fast-paced international environment.

As a Team Lead Accounting, you'll play a key role in keeping the financial engine running smoothly, from preparing financial statements to managing accounts receivable and supporting internal stakeholders on finance topics.

• Lead and manage a core accounting team of 2 professionals
• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure smooth finance operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB & IFRS) and internal reports
• Analyze material and logistics costs on a monthly basis, identifying variances and ensuring accuracy
• Serve as a finance business partner to other departments and the management board on accounting and tax matters
• Lead and manage the accounts receivable and dunning process to ensure timely collections
• Liaise with the external accountancy firm and coordinate audit-related matters
• Contribute to finance initiatives that strengthen working capital performance across international markets

• You bring strong experience from an audit firm (Big Four or mid-tier preferred) and/or in-house accounting or finance role
• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• You have deep knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• You're highly proficient in Excel and familiar with tools like DATEV, DATEV Unternehmen Online (DUO); Salesforce and expense tools are a plus
• You have excellent communication skills in German and English
• You're organized, detail-oriented, and remain calm and focused even under pressure
