We strive to go the distance to deliver, with discipline and passion and believe in connecting with people person-to-person, with empathy and understanding.For our District Office in Mainz-Kastel we are looking for aManager Europe Payments (m/f/d)as soon as possible, working full-time (40 hrs.) on-site.Your key responsibilities:Oversee daily operations for outgoing and incoming payments including ACH, wire transfers, SEPA, SWIFT, BACS and instant/faster payments.Ensure timely processing, posting, and support during reconciliation of all payment transactions.Manage relationships with payment processors, financial institutions, and third-party vendors.Monitor fraud indicators and support risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with compliance teams.Analyze payment data and prepare operational and financial performance reports.Drive automation and system improvements to optimize transaction processing workflows.Oversee all aspects of item processing including check deposits, returns, corrections, and clearing operations.Coordinate balancing, support reconciliation, and exception handling for all processed items.Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new tools related to item processing.Your skills:You are a flexible, logical and analytical thinker and fluent in oral and written German and English.You are team-oriented, have a structured, and proactive working style, the ability to work and remain calm under pressure and proven management/leadership skills.Strong understanding of payment networks, digital payment systems, payment processors, core banking systems and reconciliation processes.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Familiarity with compliance regulations and industry standards related to payments and financial operations.Programming skills and a deep understanding of the IT infrastructure for financial systems.What do we offer:A permanent employment contract in a unique working environment.A small team, flat hierarchies, and the opportunity to actively contribute to the company's success.30 days' vacation per year and 6 days off in addition.Special payments twice a year (Christmas pay and vacation pay).Educational Assistance Benefits for your further education.Good connections to public transport and free parking directly in front of the office. xgcbozq Interested?For any questions regarding the recruitment process or the position itself, please contact Mr. Marc Lenhardt at or Please note that applications must be submitted here:Apply nowWe are looking forward to hearing from you.Navy Federal Credit UnionHuman Resources -510-E-Mail:
