About the Role As Product Owner you would be leading the effort to provide Essity teams with solutions & services to enable them to be more effective in the digital environment. Being part of the brand building team, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of our brand and marketing strategies and to express your talent by implementing them on the DAM solution and the content factory. Especially within the scope of product content. This role is ideally based in Munich (Ismaning), Germany or any other European Essity location - with a direct report to the Global Digital Services & Marketing Content Director. In this role, you will be taking in account the existing, navigate our large organization and deliver value. You will be working within an agile team, following SCRUM. As the team is bound to grow, you will have the opportunity to shape the way of working following best practices and scale it. What You Will Do- As being the owner of the DAM & Content Factory, transcend team & stakeholder involvement- Develop a deep understanding of the customer and products needs- Drive the product deliveries, organize the targets, improve the life of our stakeholders and have Essity interest at heart- Recognized voice of the business to the team- Accountable for the product backlog and prioritization of user stories with team members- Collaborate with key partners across business and technology to identify problems and opportunities- Manages stakeholder expectations- Manage full life cycle digital projects including all involved internal (brand and marketing teams, sales, IT etc.) and external parties (3rd party organizations such as agencies and consultancies)- Experience in supporting business process development and transition to operations- Own the products - in full: You will be the sole owner, with great power comes great responsibilities- Interact closely with the Product Owner of the PIM, in order to identify synergies and deliver value- Be a leader, using creativity, agile mindset, and result focus to create a business impact with your solutions Who You Are- Ideally university degree or equivalent education in relevant field- Min. 8+ years work experience in the field of product ownership / product management / project management: You understand the differences between those 3 fields, and now you are all in for ownership- Deep functional knowledge & mindset (technical is a plus): You love to solve problems, able to formalize solution and see it through- Experienced on "Source of truth" solutions such as PIM, PCM, MDM, DAM: Complex systems are your bread and butter- Willing to challenge the status quo: Change Management is part of your routine- Profound experience from working with different stakeholders in a global matrix organization: As a citizen of the world having stakeholders in different countries is source of opportunities- Hands on experience managing technical vendors and managing products/projects with external executions teams and internal stakeholders- Able to connect seamlessly with technical teams as well as marketing crowd: You are the bridge across those areas of expertise- You have a strong bias for action, willing to lead and go the extra mile to deliver results- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Fluent English, other languages are a (great) plus- Prepared for frequent travel What We Can Offer You At Essity, we believe everyone's learning and professional development is unique and want to empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
