We are on the lookout for a **Senior Accountant** to join the **General Ledger Team** ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and consistency of Delivery Hero’s financial statements and accounting records.
- _ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Delivery Hero SE and its German subholdings in accordance with _HGB_
- _ Compile _reporting packages_ under _IFRS_ for group consolidation purposes and collaborate with Group Accounting_
- _ Ensure accurate and timely _month-end closings_, including accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations_
- _ Perform _GL account analysis_, postings, and reviews across various balance sheet and P&L items_
- _ Manage and maintain _master data_ relevant to general ledger processes and support _external audits_ while liaising with auditors and internal stakeholders_

**Qualifications**
- Degree in **Accounting / Finance / Business Administration**and at least **6 years** of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in an international, listed company
- Sound knowledge of **HGB** and solid understanding of **IFRS** principles
- Proficient in **SAP R3 or S/4HANA**; experience with other reporting and consolidation tools (i.e. OneStream) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - you **Dive Deep**
- Fluent in **German and English**, both written and spoken
- Proactive and reliable with strong communication skills - you are taking **Ownership** in everything you do
