**Areas of Responsibility**:
The ERG Germany Legal Counsel's main responsibilities will be:
- Advising staff and management on day-by-day business and general civil, commercial and public law issues (related to the projects in development, construction and operation),
- Management of civil claims (mainly related to real estate, service contracts and post M&A items) and alignment with external legal counsels,
- Close alignment with legal team in Germany, cooperation and exchange with all departments and being an integral member of the global legal team of ERG.
**Studies**:
Completion of legal studies (1st and 2nd state examination (Volljurist)) with above average results.
**Work Experience**:
Relevant professional experience of at least 2 years as an advisor in the field of renewable energies, preferably in the field of wind and solar farm development and operation.
**Languages**:
German and English at a business fluent level (CEFR C1).
**IT Skills**:
Good Microsoft Office skills.
**Know - How & Managerial Skills**:
- Understanding of relevant laws and procedures with regard to renewable energy projects
- Self-reliant and solution-oriented way of working
- Ability to quickly familiarise yourself with unfamiliar issues and carry out an initial risk assessment
- Ability to work as part of a team and good communicational skills
- Ability to communicate the results of a legal analysis to persons with no legal background
