As VP Operations / COO, you will:

- **
Own and scale Smalt’s PV Installation Operations, covering**:

- Technical Planning: Optimize and standardize installation processes
- Procurement & Supplier Management: Ensure material availability and cost efficiency
- Disposition & Scheduling: Oversee workforce deployment and resource planning
- Logistics & Inventory Management: Implement best practices for supply chain efficiency
- ** Drive Operational Excellence & Profitability**:

- Optimize processes to increase efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness
- Build and implement KPIs & operational dashboards to monitor and improve performance
- Structure the operations to support increasing demand and geographical expansion
- ** Lead and develop High-performing Teams**:

- Oversee and mentor disposition, field operations, logistics, and procurement and technical planning teams
- Build a strong culture of ownership, performance, and continuous improvement
- Work with the founders & senior leadership to define long-term company goals
- Collaborate across functions (Product, Sales, Finance) to make strategic growth decisions and align operations with business expansion

**✨ What Makes You a Great Fit**:

- ** Experience & Skills**:

- 8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or analytical roles (e.g., consulting, strategy, logistics, or field operations)
- Industry experience in renewable energy (preferred) or other complex field operations (e.g., construction, last-mile logistics)
- Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to optimize operational processes at scale
- Proven P&L ownership experience and track record of improving profitability
- ** Mindset & Leadership**:

- Hands-on leader who can scale operations while keeping efficiency in check
- High strategic thinking + execution ability (can define the big picture & dive deep into details)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with founders, customers, and operational teams
- ** Language**:Fluent English, plus at least B2 German (preferred)
