In the case of the Marketing Strategist, DACH Focus, this understanding covers our communities in DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) - including what products, events, people, and content matter to them at any given moment. This expert knowledge then powers the development of marketing strategies, creative briefs, and media strategies that ensure we're connecting with our communities and driving the behavior change we want to see. This position is based in either Zürich, Switzerland or Berlin, Germany. Make us more relevant: You have a deep understanding of our communities and target audiences, supported by research - desk, digital and field. You use this understanding to identify where we won't just reach these groups, but truly build connections that deliver on long term and short term ambitions. This includes selling products, but it also expands to building our brand in the world.
Make us more commercial: You understand our business. How we are positioned, the competitive landscape and how the category is evolving. You understand how to read and interpret business data and can have bigger picture discussions that bring together evolving business needs with what's going on in the real world, with real people. You think about this in the context of who we need to reach, what our message needs to be, and where we need to reach them to drive the business.
Make us more integrated: You are able to see the whole picture across our communities in DACH and bring it to life for the team. That means partnering with team members to build customer journeys that consider all the different points of entry the brand can build - from digital channels to physical experiences - and choosing the right ones for the task at hand.
Your Story:
On emphasizes hands-on skills across all departments. For this role, we're looking for an individual who excels in doing qualitative and quantitative research that will unearth unique insights around communities in DACH - both in the field and at their desk. But they should also be equally comfortable building the annual plans that map out what we do when, and why, to reach and engage these communities in partnership with those in the market. That involves connecting brand, product, content, and activation efforts into one seamless journey.
We are looking for individuals ready to quickly ramp-up on new industries and business models, define goals, competition and target audiences, and deliver valuable recommendations that have the power to transform the brand. Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and build trust with empowered decision-makers is essential.
