**Your role**:
We are offering an exciting opportunity to become part of our Electronics Strategy & Transformation team and contribute to achieving the ambitious targets of our Level Up program. This role will drive strategy realization & portfolio execution through the conceptualization and implementation of high-priority projects. You will lead and/ or act as a team member of interdisciplinary projects of Electronics business units and functions, such as strategy, controlling, integrated supply chain, HR, and corporate functions such as M&A, tax, or legal. Moreover, you will build up internal competencies and know-how and foster the exchange of best practices.

This high-impact project management role comprises developing plans, organizing meetings, and ensuring/ reporting progress on a regular basis. You will prepare decision papers for top management and drive the implementation of decisions in strategic projects. We look for a strong business personality willing to drive high-impact projects and feel comfortable with top management stakeholders.

**Who you are**:

- Ph.D. or University degree in science or industrial engineering (with an additional business qualification) or business administration/ economics
- More than five years of professional experience in project management in a senior management environment within an international context
- Preferably more than five years of professional experience in a top-tier management consulting company, big four transaction services, corporate M&A, or investment banking
- Preferably in-depth experience in the electronic/ chemical industry
- Strategic and analytical thinking and proven skills in structured problem solving
- Highly structured working style
- Able to cope with pressure, motivated and ambitious to grow within Merck Electronics
- Proficient in English, German is a strong plus
