Senior Designer

As a Senior Designer at GHARAGE, you will be part of the Venture Building team, collaborating with a diverse mix of strategists, creatives, researchers, designers, and entrepreneurs.

Our Venture Building unit is the engine to build and test new business models innovating the status quo, but even more so: creating what’s next. We focus on developing ventures, experiences, and brands with a focus on innovative travel services and retail concepts.

We want enthusiasm for the aesthetic. We're looking for off-the-wall ideas and grandiose designs that are so good we don't even know where our heads are. We want to start projects that no one will believe we dared. We need passion, courage and surprises.

Aufgaben

The focus of your work as a Senior Designer will be the conception and implementation of design and branding projects in the analog and digital space. You have conceptual strengths in design and actively contribute to all projects and ventures. Your responsibilities will include briefing and guiding freelancers in the corporate and branding process, creating and presenting compelling and visually appealing presentations at various levels. Together with the venture building team, you'll participate in inspiring and interdisciplinary ideation sessions, turning innovative ideas into tangible products, services and/or experiences. You will communicate and collaborate with GHARAGE and Gebr. Heinemann stakeholders and external partners. In this role, you will report to the Head of Venture Building at GHARAGE.

**DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL SKILLS**:

- Co-creating user journeys and wireframes
- Experienced in retail & packaging design
- Video editing such as After Effect or Premiere Pro
- 3D visualization via 3D Editor Software or AI Generators
- Ability to design information archetypes / toolkits

Qualifikation
- You are an independent, proactive, full-fledged designer who loves to work in different design disciplines always keeping in mind the current trend.
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in creative or design agencies, innovation hubs or startups.
- You are experienced with digital appearances and cross-media projects.
- You are experienced using Adobe Creative Suite / Figma.
- You have a strong track record in building compelling brands and communication strategies.
- You have the capability to work across multiple projects and brands.
- You can work independently on projects.
- You are an excellent team player with an inspirational can-do attitude that goes beyond job descriptions.
- You have an affinity for the travel and retail industries.
- You are fluent in English; knowledge of German is nice to have.
- You are based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg, Germany.xx
