Giesecke + Devrient is seeking the Digitalization Officer (DO) to lead and drive the digital transformation of our ePayments (EP) division. Digital transformation covers: fit for purpose processes, systems & tools, technology watch, introduction of AI-based technologies to boost efficiency and change management. Reporting directly to the ePayments CEO, the DO will put a strong emphasis on networking, collaboration with various EP functions. As business partner, the DO will collaborate closely esp. with Group Chief Digital Officer - Corporate IT and Group Techno Office. The DO serves as a bridge between different departments, helping to integrate digital strategies and technologies across the ePayments division.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Thanks to a team of transversal industrial experts, and to nurtured relationships with key EP function, build an integrated and programmatic approach to drive transformation, in a pragmatic way.
- Contribute to G+D CDO strategy and roadmap work.
- Enforce an EP consistent data model, ensuring data accountability and reliability, paving the way for management actions, with global governance, data discipline at all levels and “single source of trust” systems.
- Secure key efficiency programs deliverables, coordinating and prioritizing as necessary to achieve business objectives and ensure successful deployment. Interface to Corporate IT for ERP projects.
- Increase EP transformation capabilities: set a project management transversal practice (mapping in EP, share best practices, build training and career development plans) and drive of transversal complex project with temporary allocation of senior staff.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, proactively identifying and promoting digitalization to enhance efficiency, in collaboration with business partners.
- Drive change management, focusing on employee adoption and readiness for changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures, as a business partner to all key stakeholders.
- Lead technology watch, including external R&D funding, and drive the adoption of new AI technologies across all functional levels, interfacing with CDO and CTO as a business partner.

**Your qualifications**:

- An excellent university degree (PhD is a plus) in Computer Science, information Technology, or a related field.
- Leadership, teambuilding and organizational: self-driven ability to lead, contribute, solve conflicts, and influence others in a multicultural environment in a team-oriented manner.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to establish and manage business partnerships. Fluent English required, German would be an additional advantage.
- Big Picture Thinking and Selling the vision.
- Superior analytical, conceptual & project management skills
- Proven ability to drive digital transformation & manage large-scale IT projects.
