Director of Design

We are looking for a Design Director to lead our Creative team. Design is fundamental to our brand, conveying how we turn complexity into clarity, our core beliefs of democratisation and collaboration, all while creating excitement and engagement. We’re all-in on making design and creativity a competitive differentiator for LeanIX, building an in-house team encompassing all the skills of video, motion, and cross-channel design, as well as our own recording studio.

You and your team are responsible for how we present our technology in a different, better, and pioneering way. Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing, you’ll drive the efficacy of design across all channels and all media. You’ll collaborate closely with the Content, Campaigns, Digital and Product Marketing teams, becoming a trusted voice and input into our overall direction, translating commercial objectives into standout storytelling, and driving creative excellence from concept to execution.

As Design Director, you will maintain a consistent creative vision for our company’s brand and projects. Duties include guiding a creative team, establishing timeframes, and managing internal relationships. You’ll be a key partner in the campaign development process, ensuring cohesion and quality control, leading review sessions, and analysing performance to define and direct improvements.

**Responsibilities**
- Meeting with Campaign teams to discuss and influence their requirements and vision
- Brainstorming with a creative team to develop ideas for campaigns and projects
- Deciding on the layout for publications or product designs and choosing visuals like photographs, artwork, graphics, and designs
- Pitching concepts to colleagues by means of innovative presentations
- Constantly liaising with teammates during a project regarding progress, issues, and changes
- Ensuring that projects are completed within time, scope and budget and in accordance with stakeholders’ expectations
- Nurturing a work environment that is conducive to creative thinking
- Hiring, managing, and motivating a creative team

**Known Requirements**
- Professional brand and design management experience within the technology or SaaS market
- Successful track record of senior leadership required
- Outstanding project management and talent development abilities required
- Proven skills across all design mediums, tools and workflows. Familiarity with Hubspot for WCM a plus.
- Fluent in English and nice to have German.
