HR Business Partner

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the talent acquisition process for their area of responsibility, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding qualified job applicants. Work with hiring managers to review and update new requirements, ensuring skills & competencies are understood and appropriate for future business needs, and with IT team to ensure new employees are provided with suitable equipment & systems access to perform their role. Conduct background checks or referencing as needed, appropriate to country & Mitratech requirements.
- Manage in-country payroll and benefits, working with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely process is followed always.
- Become a trusted advisor to the HR management team on matters of employee relations, performance management and employee engagement across their area of responsibility.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable local and national employment & immigration laws & regulations, and best practice. Regularly review and advise HR Manager team where updates to local policies and employee handbooks are required, to ensure on-going compliance.
- Analyse trends in local pay & benefits and propose improvements to ensure Mitratech is positioned to attract & retain the best talent.
- Provide guidance & support to managers on performance improvement, disciplinary matters and potential terminations.
- Regularly review & act on engagement survey feedback for their area of responsibility, working with managers on action plans & local initiatives.
- Work with the Training team to create and implement L & D programs supporting development opportunities for employees.
- Work with members of the wider HR team on projects to improve effectiveness of our HR processes & systems, and implementation of organization-wide initiatives, such as recognition and wellness programmes.
- Manage the day-to-day requirements of any Mitratech premises within their area of responsibility, including, but not limited to, assignment of access passes, management of facilities contractor agreements, on-site provisions, landlord relationship, and where appropriate, closure, dilapidations & exit plans.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English and German languages are pre-requisites for this role.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or appropriate related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred, including management of payroll & benefits.
- Post-graduate qualification in Human Resource management preferred.
