Ihre Aufgaben
- Datenbankinstallationen, Upgrades, Patches, Sicherheit, Fehlersuche und Problemlösung, Sicherungsverfahren und Leistungsoptimierung.
- Beratung bei der Skalierung unserer Kerndatenbank (Regionen \ Availability Zones - Bare Metal Installs).
- Implementierung von Sicherungs
- und Wiederherstellungsprozessen.
- Optimieren der Abfrageleistung.
- Durchführen von Datenbank-Gesundheitsprüfungen.
- Planung und Durchführung von Datenbank-Upgrades.
- Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Anwendungsteam, um geplante Änderungen zu verstehen, eine Auswirkungsanalyse durchzuführen und Feedback zu geben.
- Automatisieren der Bereitstellung.
- Fehlersuche und Problembehebung.
- Aufgrund des 24x7-Betriebs des Unternehmens müssen Sie in der Lage sein, einen flexiblen Arbeitsplan zu erstellen, der auch Nächte, Wochenenden, Feiertage, Notfall-Eskalationen usw. umfassen kann.
- Beitrag zu unserer Roadmap für die Entwicklung von Microservices bei der Konzeption neuer Architekturen und Dienste.

Das wünschen wir uns
- Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL Version 10 und höher in unternehmenskritischen Anwendungen.
- Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL Replikationstopologien, physischer und logischer Replikation.
- Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL HA Setups, z.B. Patroni, repmgr.
- Kenntnisse von PostgreSQL-Backup-Strategien und -Tools, z.B. barman, pgbackrest, wal-e/wal-g.
- Gutes Verständnis der PostgreSQL-Performance auf Bare-Metal und virtuellen Maschinen unter Linux.
- Kenntnisse der PostgreSQL-Überwachung mit Tools wie Prometheus und Grafana.
- Allgemeine Kenntnisse von Linux-Systemen, Volume Management, Dateisystemen, Bash-Kenntnisse.
- Kenntnisse der unterstützenden Infrastruktur für Postgres, Verbindungspooler und Proxys.
- (optional) Kenntnisse in der Ansible-Automatisierung.
- (optional) Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL in Kubernetes.
