Our goal is to complete the "run the bank" job in Avaloq successfully. **Your mission** - As an Oracle specialist, you have your finger on the pulse of our systems, perform monitoring and performance analyses and support 2nd/3rd level support in incident and problem management. - You monitor and optimize the Oracle databases of our customers over the entire life cycle. - You will analyze identified bottlenecks and improvement potentials, structure solution approaches and plan and control the implementation of suitable measures. - In everything you do, you keep an eye on data protection and security and use our tools and processes. - With your know-how, you actively support projects and point out implementation paths. **Qualifications**: **What you need**: - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field. - Senior profile with proven work experience (5+ years) in Oracle databases. - Experience in analysing technical problems and preparing and automating recurring administrative tasks - Experience with configuration management, optimisation as well as monitoring of database systems - Fluent written and spoken English and German **You will get extra point for the following** - Experience in the field of banking IT (regulation, security) Additional Information **Now let's talk about perks and compensation** We have a hybrid work week model, giving colleagues flexibility in how they work, as well as ensuring we create our unique Avaloq culture in our office locations.
