Warehouse Team Leader

As our Team Leader you’ll be running a dedicated department in which you’ll be focused on making sure your section is running smoothly and efficiently to make sure we are meeting customer expectations and adhering to SLA. You’ll play an integral part in support the Team Managers with motivating and leading the warehouse operatives to succeed and achieve their KPIs.

Throughout the time in this role, you will ensure you are showing best practice across the warehouse in relation to Health & Safety, general maintenance of your working area and safe working practices and policies. This is an fixed-term position for 1 year with us where you will learn what it means to be a Team Leader here at ASC in our Germany Operations. During this time you’ll be coached and developed by our Team Managers at our Nettetal site in Germany where you will be working across a rotational AM & PM shift Monday - Friday.

**Key responsibilities of our Warehouse Team Leader**:

- Leading and coaching your team to success by helping them to achieve their KPI’s
- Putting your people first and identifying any key opportunities to plan development needs within your team to upskill and enhance
- Being responsible for the health and safety of yourself and the team, by always maintaining set standards outlined in the Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Conducting regular team meetings and briefs to update the wider team on best practices and continuing expectations whilst providing any wider company information they may need to know
- Keeping up excellent communication between all stakeholders throughout the business with regular updates and requirements to help meet best practices

**What we need from you as our Warehouse Team Leader**:

- Previous and proven experience in a logistics distribution working environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the use of warehouse management systems
- Good people management, leadership & influential skills
- Be able to communicate and understand both English & German
