**FUNCTIONS**: You lead the tax activities in DACH region with the focus on planning, coordination of tax compliance, management of local tax advisors and relationships with tax authorities, tax reporting and transfer pricing compliance, implementation of best tax practices and tax in accordance with the company standards with accountability for these processes and ensuring compliance on a local entity level. Furthermore you participate in all tax relevant audits as well as act as a strong support to the DACH Finance teams and the key business partners at a corporate level. Main responsibilities : - Responsibility for all the Tax activities according to the values, processes and Company policy for entities in the DACH region - Ensuring and controlling the ongoing tax compliance processes (including timely preparation and submission of tax returns) of all companies by developing or implementing best practices - Build relationships with local finance managers on tax matters and interact with Corporate Tax Department in line with the Group Tax Governance - Overview tax provisions and tax compliance process, monitoring and control of tax service providers, identifying problems and develop solutions - Tax conception and planning of existing and new company structures - Identify and mitigate tax risks in the region - Providing support to Corporate tax team on Tax reporting and Transfer Pricing compliance - First point of contact in all tax matters as well as in-house tax consulting for divisional management and executive management - Overview and coordinate tax audits with local team and Corporate - Acting as the key contact for external parties such as external auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities and local administration - Coordinating the establishment of tax packages and VAT returns for the respective legal entities - Management of taxation risk as regards identifying and planning for developments and changes in tax law (especially Transfer Pricing) in cooperation with Corporate tax team and finance director - Development of tax reporting as well as implementation and enforcement of tax motivated processes and guidelines in cooperation with the CFO - Supporting Finance DACH on CIT computation / tax accounting in the context of annual financial statements in IFRS, German HGB, Austrian UGB and Swiss Gaap for the respective DACH entities - Implementation of the integration into the reporting system in the Group (post-merger integration) - Regular and direct reporting to EMEA Tax Director and DACH CFO - Monitoring developments in tax legislation in the region
