**About the role**

In this hands-on role you will assume the group-wide responsibility for all tax related activities, creating a structured approach towards ensuring tax compliance for all global entities of SAP Fioneer. You will lead on the management of tax compliance processes including the timely preparation and filing of tax declarations for all entities.

You will become part of a highly motivated team of professionals who work towards creating a state-of-the-art corporate Finance function from the ground up. Tremendous efforts have already been invested in creating the basis of structured and well-considered processes. As our Head of Tax, you will be able to bring your experience and expertise to the table and truly shape the function.

You can be based anywhere in Germany or in our office in Munich if you prefer. For this role, fluent German language skills are required.
- Responsibility for the group-wide tax related activities, and the ongoing tax compliance processes, including the timely preparation and submission of tax returns for all companies.
- Supervision and control of external tax service providers, managing the relationship to continuously improve outcomes.
- Leading on the conceptual design, planning and optimisation of our tax related activities for our existing as well as new company structures.
- Monitoring of legal changes in the area of international tax law, in particular in the area of transfer prices and permanent establishments, derive new compliance requirements from them and accompany their implementation.
- Regular and direct reporting to the Head of Finance.
- First point of contact in all tax related matters (incl. cross-border transactions), and in-house tax advice for divisional management and the executive board

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Economics, Law or Finance, for example in the field of tax
law, business administration, economics, law, banking/financial services.
Alternatively, a comparable training and further education, e.g. as a financial
clerk, tax clerk, tax specialist, business administrator
- Successfully passed Tax Consultant exam or comparable training
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a tax advisory function
in the area of corporate/group taxes
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Structured way of working, assertiveness, resilience, and team spirit
