**Job Description**:
**Project lead for our new Snapchat partnership**
- you drive our Snap x Freetech partnership which focusses on creating new ways of making journalism more personal, relevant and compelling for younger audiences by creating innovative effects, filters (including XR), storytelling capabilities and use cases
- you focus on empowering the adoption of Snap and of AR through training, upskilling & thought leadership formats within Axel Springer and beyond
- you are sharing your knowledge with both emerging talent and experienced editors
- With curiosity and strong motivation, you are commited to spearhead exploration of future of storytelling opportunities in journalism
- you work closely with internal stakeholders and the broader news industry ecosystem

**Qualifications**:
**experienced video journalist, who brings in management experience and enjoys leading innovative projects for younger audiences**
- you have a strong background in video journalism and storytelling
- you have leadership experience and track-record in a news environment
- In addition, you have demonstrated experience in developing compelling and innovative video content on different platforms
- you are able to plan, manage and communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and experts
- you show a strong ability to monitor success metrics and deliver on predefined milestones and deliverables in a structured manner
- you are able to share knowledge, inspire others and create excitement around the opportunities presented by immersive technologies like AR
- Ideally you have worked in the video innovation space, for example in AR, and have journalistic experience with Snap products
- your German and English skills are excellent (in spoken and written language)
