**What you'll do**
The working student (f/m/d) will support the Export Control Operations Team and with that learn key operational aspects that are required to successfully fulfill our export control mission. As we are working very close with other departments and have visibility at board level, the student could enrich his professional business horizon accordingly. As the Export Control Team has a wide range of responsibilities to manage, the student will:
- Support day-to-day export control business operations
- Update Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) of software products
- Maintain Export Control specific information of material master data and license materials
- Assist export control pre-evaluation requests from our sales organization
- Perform Sanctioned Party List screenings
- Check business partner master data based on industry code/ perform web research
- Provide project support (creation of reports, presentation, statistical analyses, etc.)
**What you bring**
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences, preferable 2 or more semesters to study
- Preferred fields of study: law, global trade management
- Language skills: fluency in German and English - both verbal and written
- Soft skills: analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues, global team player and proactive working attitude
- Other: we would appreciate but not require knowledge around Export Controls and experiences with SAP systems
**Meet your team**
The Export Control Team is part of Finance and Administration, located in St. Leon Rot and acts as an internal as well external service provider. Export and Import Control Compliance is an important part of SAP´s global compliance program. As an international economic operator, SAP must comply with export control laws and regulations of various countries. Within SAP, the Export Control Team is responsible for ensuring compliance through appropriate export control compliance processes. To support the Export Control Team, we are looking for a flexible, engaged and committed working student (f/m/d) who can integrate in a professional team and is interested in supporting the various activities around effective export control tasks.#Workingstudent #Werkstudent #Germany #Deutschland #Student
