Senior Network Specialist - 3-6 months+ - Frankfurt, Germany/Remote
For a large global client we are looking for an experienced Network Specialist for a 3-6 month extendable contract based in Frankfurt, Germany/from home office. You will be required to go to the office 1-2 days per week.
The Role
- Responsible for network operations and large scale projects globally.
- Technical role requiring a solid understanding of networking technologies and concepts.
- Leading and driving the network activities associated with large scale projects.
- Assist in the specification, ordering, purchasing, asset-tracking, and inventory of network-related equipment/supplies/software
- Maintain the network infrastructure globally, highlighting and recording issues identified, creating action plans to resolve
- Utilize necessary tools to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
- Challenge, report and escalate as necessary to resolve any issues affecting the availability, security or integrity of the network infrastructure
Your Experience
- 7+ years experience as a Network Specialist
- Strong experience with Fortinet; NSE4 and NSE7 certified
- Background with Cisco moving into Fortinet in recent years
- Strong firewall experience
- Experience within Data Centres and/or mission critical environments
