The HelloFresh Group now includes our core brand, HelloFresh, as well as: Green Chef, EveryPlate, Chefs Plate, Factor_, and Youfoodz. **The role**: As an Energy & Carbon Intern you will support HelloFresh in reaching its goal of being a recognised leader in the area of carbon emission reduction and in the development and dissemination of climate smart solutions. You will be part of the Sustainability & Packaging team and be responsible for supporting carbon and energy projects across all HelloFresh international operations. Above all, we are looking for people who will **make HelloFresh** **better.** We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences So even if you don't "tick all the boxes" but think you'd thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you. **What you'll do**: - Supporting key initiatives to reduce HelloFresh's environmental impact throughout the operations - Researching climate smart solutions and best practices - Supporting energy & water data collection processes within the HelloFresh international operations. - Supporting data collection and calculations for greenhouse gas emissions. - Extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data for drawing actionable insights for our Sustainability team - Contributing to the creation of presentations for senior stakeholders - Documenting & organizing HelloFresh Sustainability's knowledge capture efforts - Opportunity to work with stakeholders from up to 19 different countries around the globe to collect data and understand critical pain-points **What you'll bring**: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field (e.g. Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science) - Knowledge of environmental impact tracking, ISO50001 Energy Management System, renewable energy solutions - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. - Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and nontechnical individuals - You are a team player and thrive in a large international and diverse team - You speak English fluently (other European languages are a plus but not necessary) - Work experience in food, sustainability, and/or environmental research is a plus - You are available as soon as possible for at least 5-6 months, ideally 40 hours per week - German work permit; unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a visa for this position **What we offer**: - Healthy discount on weekly HelloFresh boxes - Monthly transportation budget through Rydes app - A diverse and vibrant international environment of 70+ different nationalities - Additional perks include: discounts for our neighboring gym & Urban Sports Club, summer & winter parties, discount on our Convini vending machines - The chance to have a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe in an exciting growth phase **Are you up for the challenge?**: **About HelloFresh**: We believe that sharing a meal brings people of all identities, backgrounds, and cultures together.
