We’re looking for an experienced go-to-person for our Accounting & Financial Operations teams, who takes ownership for the accounting, financial operations and tax area. You will be the coach and mentor of your highly talented and motivated team, helping our finance talent to thrive.

This role is located in Berlin and requires occasional travel to our Munich office (less than 10%).

**Your mission**:

- Lead and improve our accounting and financial reporting according to HGB and IFRS for the German operations, our European activities and Japan
- Ensure, the billing, invoicing and accounting and processes are supporting our business processes with the highest degree of automation
- Develop and own your process and quality KPI in accounting and financial reporting
- Support the development of business cases, long term planning, new products and business lines in respect to accounting and financial reporting related question
- Partner with controlling to support cost accounting for our products, services and business lines
- Ensure sound internal controls over financial reporting in close collaboration with the risk and compliance manager
- Hands on experience with SAP/S4 Hana

**Your profile**:

- At least 8 years of professional experience in the fields of Accounting and Finance Operations
- Proven track record of developing teams and driving accounting and process quality
- Experience with the implementation and maintenance of internal control management and documentation systems such as SOX or similar
- You’re a strong self-motivated personality, with a goal oriented hands-on mentality)
- You are fluent in English and German (C1 or higher)
- Fin-tech experience is a plus
