International Marketing Executive

We are currently recruiting for a full-time position of INTERNATIONAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE for our Munich based client. Its services encompass high-level content marketing solutions with magazines, websites, apps, social media channels and more as well as bespoke customer benefit strategies with a combination of events, offers and privileges created and managed exclusively for luxury business clients.

Tasks

The INTERNATIONAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE is a key role within the American Express Marketing Department as part of an expanding global team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Commercial Director, this role will work closely with the Advertising Sales team as well as the Print, Digital, Editorial and Production teams to ensure cohesive, transparent and timely communication of all revenue-driving opportunities, through considered and targeted initiatives on a global, regional and local level.

The INTERNATIONAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE will be a proactive team player who helps develop and implement marketing programmes in a B2B environment and provide the Advertising Sales and Digital teams with support in the form of sales collaterals, events and pan-regional research.

KEY TASKS
- Create and update marketing collaterals according to brand positioning and CI guidelines as defined with the Head of Marketing, for the American Express Publications at the pan-regional, regional and local levels (incl. media kits, media site, core presentations and building blocks for sales proposals, sales sheets, brochures etc.)
- Obtain selected client testimonials and prepare standout case studies for integration into sales materials and B2B platforms
- Create sales supporting materials for special initiatives (e.g. editorial specials, new products etc.)
- Coordinate, conduct and analyse primary research gathered via print and digital surveys throughout the year
- Assist with the collation and analysis of third-party research and American Express brand updates to distribute to sales representative network and B2B contacts
- Assist with the development and prepare strategic mailing (print & digital) as appropriate
- Coordinate presence and sponsorships at trade fairs and industry events
- Coordinate local market client events
- Coordinate representative training sessions (e.g. onboarding of new sales reps, annual sales conference, targeted ad hoc sales workshops)
- Monitor the competitive media environment and keep up-to-date with current luxury market analysis
- Manage and liaise with external service providers
- Additional support with other publications within our portfolio

**Requirements**:

- Have native-level English, written and spoken (German skills would be advantageous)
- Ideally have minimum 2 years experience in marketing or a similar role
- Be a strong copy writer
- Have experience with designing and conceiving collaterals, using industry standard tools such as Microsoft Powerpoint, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
- Be creative and possess pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Have a methodical and meticulous approach with excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work effectively and accurately under time pressure
- Be a strong communicator
- Be able to think outside the box to come up with innovative and new ways to present our readership, products and opportunities
