**Position Summary**:
SomaLogic is seeking a dynamic Field Application Scientist based in Italy to support biomarker discovery platform, the SomaScan® Assay, SomaSignal Tests, and related pipeline products.

This position will report to the Director, Global Scientific Engagement.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Site set, training and support for SomaLogic Authorized sites
- Support and train external clients in using SomaLogic's core technologies
- Plan and guide for effective SomaLogic commercial team members onboarding process
- Ability to present SomaLogic technology and capabilities in large scientific meetings and conferences
- Ability to generate training materials (PowerPoint, whitepaper, technical note, etc.) for various scientific presentations and competitor positioning
- Deliver technology presentations to potential clients
- Perform activities related to equipment inspection in a laboratory setting
- Support commercial team and customers with technical knowledgebase and problem solving
- Assess equipment and laboratory technical capabilities for technology transfer opportunities
- Represent SomaLogic at trade shows
- Be part of growing team for a new-to-market products
- Troubleshoot protocols being run in client labs
- Train sales team members on messaging, as appropriate
- Document all technical inquiries in SomaLogic’s Salesforce system
- Additional responsibilities as directed by the head of scientific engagement

**Education and Experience**:

- MS degree in the life sciences or related field; PhD degree preferred
- At least 3 years of customer support experience
- At least 7 years laboratory experience, including authorized site installation and working cross functional teams
- MS Office expertise
- Experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries preferred
- Experience training others preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strict deadlines
