We are therefore looking to hire an energetic, highly motivated, can-do attitude Data Engineering Internship / Working Student (all genders).
Tasks
In this role, you will be part of Pareto's Engineering team, helping to build our product and integrate it for our customers. Your main tasks will include:
- Participating in the development of our AI product, especially in the Data Engineering aspects, which include Data Validation, Extraction, Loading, and Transformation, as well as Data Processing in batch using pipelines or in real-time using APIs.
- Assisting in customer onboarding by preparing customer data for our AI. This involves writing transformation SQL or Python code, creating automated tests to validate customer data, writing validation code for the results produced by our AI, and developing transformation code to customize results for our customers.
- Learning all aspects of being part of the Engineering Team at an AI Software-as-a-Service Startup. This includes greenfield development as well as extending a growing product using state-of-the-art technologies, enjoying autonomy and trust from your peers to accomplish highly diverse and rewarding tasks, and having flexibility in your work hours and location
**Requirements**:
- Engineering or Science Background
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required
- Proficient in SQL and a programming language
- Prior experience with DBT or Snowflake is advantageous
- Fundamental understanding of Data Engineering or Data Science is a plus
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is desirable
