Our client, a globally successful corporate and investment bank, offers a wide range of capital markets, investment banking, structured finance, commercial banking and international trade products and services to corporate and institutional clients worldwide. The Global Investment Banking (GIB) division advises clients related to merger & acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions and specialized financing.
Tasks
**Your mission**: Origination and execution of new Leveraged Buy Out deals for top tier international Private Equity clients as well as financings for corporate clients within the German CLF team.
- You are closely involved in and responsible for building new business relationships with private equity funds and the overall growth of the franchise.
- You will be responsible for and supervise the preparation and presentation of marketing materials, including production of pitch books in liaison with other business lines (DCM, ECM, M&A and debt syndication teams).
- You identify commercial needs of key clients and secure cross-selling opportunities.
- You will develop and maintain close relationships with other market practitioners, including financing parties, lawyers and professional advisors.
- You are responsible for the credit management of designated portfolio files.
- You will train and develop junior team members.
**Requirements**:
- Graduate degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience working in an acquisition finance / structured finance / corporate finance division of an Investment Bank.
- Knowledge of private equity investments, corporate finance and credit analysis.
- Basic knowledge of capital market products and syndications as well as of loan documentation.
- Elaborated analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to cooperate and work across all levels of an international organization.
- Ability to work under time pressure with different priorities and tight project deadlines.
- Team orientation, strong attitude, motivation and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent language skills in German and English; further languages would be a plus.
