Doctoral Thesis: Artificial Intelligence for
vor 1 Woche
The tasks within the thesis will consist of:
- **Analysis of the processes and the available data**: clustering, correlations, sensitivity analysis etc.
- **Development and testing of a CMP process model on wafer level**: combination of machine learning, physics models, simulation and process data
- **Development of algorithms for automatic evaluation of metrology data **(e.g. confocal microscopy, AFM,) on chip level
The learnings out of the thesis will be/lead to
- Deep understanding of the CMP process and the interdependencies between consumables and products
- Insights in a global semiconductor company
- Networking with other research enthusiasts and within the semiconductor industry
A doctoral student is a research enthusiast,

- Have some **experience with semiconductor devices **or **highly automatic manufacturing**:
- Are familiar with **programming languages **(Python, Matlab, C++, etc.)
- Knowledge in use of **databases and Big Data**:
- Have **very good English and German **language skills
