Join our dynamic Data Insights & Visualization team, a crucial segment of our larger Data Department, dedicated to transforming data into actionable, valuable insights for our business colleagues. We focus on cultivating a self-service data culture, implementing value-based use cases together with our business counterparts, and providing consultation to enable our colleagues to run analyses independently. We're not just building dashboards; we're building knowledge centers and fostering a community of data experts. We are currently seeking a motivated working student to join our team.

**About the role**
- As a working student in our Data Insights and Visualization team, you will play a pivotal role in:

- Collaborating with various team members to comprehend and analyze business requirements of our data use cases
- Assisting in the implementation of data analytics frameworks and tools to empower business colleagues to perform their analyses
- Providing consultation and guidance to colleagues on building and maintaining their data visualizations
- Participating in the creation and nurturing of knowledge centers within the business to foster a community of data experts
- Assisting in the extraction, transformation, and loading process of data
- Supporting in the implementation of data analytics frameworks
- Providing support and guidance to business colleagues on creating and maintaining their dashboards
- Assisting in creating KPI’s or metrics for business consultationHelping to build a community of data experts within the business

**Job requirements and experience**
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field - preferably in the Rhein/Ruhr Region to manage to come to our RWE Campus in Essen on a weekly basis
- Having a passion for data and the impact of data visualization
- Experience with BI Tools (PBI, Tableau, SAC, Databricks etc)
- Strong communicational skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and autonomous way of working
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentFluent in English - writing and speaking, further language skills are beneficial
