Whft Site Lead

**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
WHFT (Warehouse Facility Technology) is an important and integral support function for Zalando's Lahr logistics centre. We are currently looking for a WHFT Site Lead (all genders) to further develop and ensure the technical and infrastructural operation.

As Site Lead, you will take over the technical and disciplinary responsibility of the team at our site in Lahr. You will bring your strong leadership skills in order to in localise and implement goals to achieve our local and strategic objectives.

- You'll improve operational safety at the site, optimize solution-oriented service for stakeholders in order minimize costs and increase the efficiency of the processes in the Warehouse.
- You'll work with different stakeholders across the organization in order to mitigate risks and facilitate collaboration across teams.
- You'll anticipate obstacles and develop alternative plans accordingly.
- You'll support the implementation of solutions and measure their success against criteria (e.g. customer feedback).
- You will lead and develop your team in order to achieve common goals and grow professionally within Zalando.

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have a university Degree in a technical field. You have an education or certificate in lower to middle management, ideally in advanced facility management.
- You have advanced knowledge and extensive experience in leading and managing people, in the field of normative/legal requirements for building services and health and safety, investment planning, budgeting and controlling, supporting teams to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
- You have a good analytical approach and a systematic and structured way of working as well as good management experience.
- You communicate fluently in both German and English across different levels within the organization.
- You master the balancing act between de-escalation and challenging stakeholders of different degrees within the team.
