**Main tasks**:

- Elaboration of the Site Development Strategy (in conjunction with the Site Manager)
- Support of various, cross-plant projects such as OEE, TOP20 Site Priorities, EcoVadis Assessment
- Challenge the Site Manager on the topic of the site management priorities
- Develop, improve and implement OE principles
- Improve production processes in various departments (for example in Production and Supply Chain)
- Data analysis and visualization, target setting and KPIs evaluation as a basis for stakeholders’ decision-making
- Regular reporting (monthly/quarterly performance reviews)
- Collaboration and exchange of best practices with stakeholders/colleagues on site in Lahr, at HQ (Ecully, France) and with other OpEx Managers across SEQENS plants worldwide
- Create a dynamic work culture focused on CI via a promotion of OE policies and practices for the plant
- Coordinate and deliver training and workshops based on Lean methodology to develop the skills of the workforce and achieve OE objectives
- Preparing annual implementation plans/roadmaps considering customer and process requirements
- Ensure a complete and systematic approach in all ongoing projects

**Required skills**:

- Qualifications:

- Completed Highschool education in Chemistry, Process Engineering or related field of study coupled with at least 8 years of practical experience as a Chemist, Engineer, Operational Excellence Specialist, Project Manager, Production Manager etc.
- Several years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing/operational environment in the chemical, pharmaceutical field (e.g. in a CDMO, GMP regulated environment) would be helpful to succeed in this role, but not required
- Project Management experience (people management experience is an advantage)
- Certificates such as Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Intelligence (BPI) and completed projects in Operational Excellence/Lean Manufacturing are a plus
- Strong communication skills in German and English (both spoken and written). Knowledge of French is a plus
- Personnality:

- Strong drive to improve and challenge the status quo combined with an ambition for a future leadership career in SEQENS
- Pronounced analytical skills, pragmatic problem solving, and project management skills are expected
- Highly organized and adept at multi-tasking, meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously and managing multiple stakeholders
- “Bridge builder” mentality with a passion for connecting and empowering people: communicator from shop floor to senior management level
- Ability to work as an efficient part of a multicultural team
