**Job Summary**
The **Logistics Specialist (M/F/d)** is responsible for the operational performance in our central distribution centre (CDC) in Bedburg. In order to continuously improve our logistics processes, you will bring in creative solution proposals and lead projects that have an impact on the entire supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure daily activity of the CDC:

- stock accuracy
- stock availability
- Inbound/Dispatch KPIs
- Initiate 5C reports for serious incidents and critically review for permanent solutions
- Facilitate monthly business review meetings between CDC management and Epson management
- Identify and implement initiatives to increase efficiency and save costs in the CDC
- Drive projects using six sigma methodologies
- Monitor compliance with ISO, J-Sox, AEO, dangerous goods and TAPA standards and ensure corrective action is taken if required
- Perform/participate in audits and keep evidence for external audits
- Conduct ad-hoc audits of warehouse logístical processes and propose improvements in terms of efficiency and Health & Safety
- Deliver continuous improvement projects relating to:

- logístical processes across the supply chain, such as EDI/WMS changes
- introduction of new technology, product ranges and segmented supply chain solutions
- Control PDCAs of projects and continuous improvement actions through to final resolution
- Improve profitability by ensuring returns and damages are promptly repackaged to make available for sale
- Manage the ordering of packaging material required

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Green Belt Six Sigma certification is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in warehousing, logistics and/or inventory administration from OEM perspective
- Experience in in 3PL operations is beneficial
- Ability to independently conduct compliance and operational audits
- Very good command of Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP is beneficial
- Ability to work independently while following policies and procedures
- Fluent in English & German written and spoken
