We’re now looking for an experienced and agile leader to join our Global HR Team and contributes to the development of the Walter global and regional business and people strategy. Your mission
As a HR leader, you will ensure professional, compliant and business oriented HR work in the scope of Walter Global Operations. The key challenges are to support and coordinate the organizational development of Global Operations and focus on all initiatives that support the Walter Go Global strategy. Included in your mission is:
- You contribute to the execution and development of the Walter People Strategy and support the delivery on business results by implementing the required HR activities
- You lead and manage the Walter HR Global Operations activities and projects
- You ensure compliance of HR related activities with global policies and local legislation
- Performance management, talent and succession management, recruitment and diversity and inclusion are important responsibilities you drive and secure, as developing the HR organization within your area
- You support managers in carrying out change initiatives by offering expertise and tools, and you take full ownership of the HR delivery model, with close co-operation with other parts of HR to ensure high quality support for our business
- With a focus on a holistic view on the employee lifecycle you are aware of a professional employee experience
In this position you report to the Vice President Human Resources and are a member of the Walter HR management team. You lead a team of experienced and cross-border HR people including managers. Frequent travelling to different Walter locations is needed.
**Profile**:
As a good leader, you’re characterized by strong interpersonal and engagement skills. You motivate your teams with a clear and common strategic roadmap, share a vision and collaborate closely with the business. You have a high sense of responsibility while at the same time being innovative, agile and curious. With strong intercultural competence, you easily interact with a high number of stakeholders in our complex environment. Add the following qualifications and you have what it takes to really thrive in this role:
- Academic degree, preferably in HR or other related fields
- More than 10 years experience in HR with a track record as HR Manager gained in an international production environment
- Open-minded, forward-thinking and collaborative
- Strong business acumen with driving HR topics
- Broad experience in change management and HR projects
- Good strategic, structural and analytical skills
- Driven by high quality results and high customer satisfaction standards
- Ability to deal with complexity while maintaining high level of service quality
- Hands on personality and strong in implementation
- Excellent communication skills in English, ideally also in German
