To set us up well for our long term goals we are currently expanding our finance team and looking for a motivated **Senior Accountant** to join our mission here at Phiture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Responsibility for all operational accounting processes such as Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Fixed assets and Expense reports from employees
- Onboard new clients, deals, and vendors on financial platforms including but not limited to Zoho books, Harvest, Spendesk and other internal tools/trackers
- Perform month-end closings, prepare the monthly financial statements and other financial reports
- Helping with the in-housing of our accounting (currently we are still working with an external Tax Advisor)
- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
- Helping with the implementation of NetSuite (we are currently using DATEV)

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

- 3+ relevant years of Accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fluent in English and upper intermediate or higher level of German
- Experience in DATEV and ideally Netsuite
- Knowledge of German commercial code (HGB)
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
