- Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

For our intake Team in Munich, we are looking for a:
Relationship Coordinator (m/w/d)

As **Relationship Coordinator**, you are responsible for building relationships with patient and internal partners, providing expertise and delivering consistent, exceptional patient service on behalf of Revenue Operations. You will complete patient-facing transactional processes and facilitate the acquisition and delivery of information to manage key department functions and ultimately ensure a successful therapy start for our patients.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, as well as with internal departments
- Responsible for the patient welcome-calls
- Single point of contact to patients
- Collaborate with key team members on a daily basis to understand the needs and urgency surrounding requests for deliverable
- Execute timely follow-up with patients, to secure requested information
- Accurately log communications and hand-offs in systems
- Ability to review accounts, understand current status, and communicate account needs clearly
- Coordinating questions from incoming patient calls and assist patients with requests
- Ensure consistency across patient-facing functions
- Identify opportunities for additional or improved services to meet unmet patient needs
- Ensure all communications and interactions are in-line with Novocure’s patient forward mission
- All other duties or priorities assigned by management as needed and reasonable
- Work on any projects assigned to the team as necessary

**Your profile**:

- 2-5 years of experience in a medical device, DME company, or patient support environment
- Excellent phone skills
- Familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology preferred
- Experience with health care systems preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Strong written and excellent verbal interactions over the phone with patients
- Demonstrated excellence in meeting and exceeding patient expectations
- Effectiveness in de-escalating and resolving difficult situations
- Ability to solve problems and set priorities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced office setting
- Very good German and English skills
