Our Tech Center
Eurostyle Systems Tech Center GmbH (ESG) was founded as an independent Tech Center on 01.01.2020. For more than 20 years, the Tech Center was responsible for the development and implementation of new projects as well as the industrial support of projects for the production sites in Germany and Hungary. Since 2018, the Würzburg site has been integrated into the company Eurostyle Systems, which is part of the GMD Group.

For our Eurostyle Systems Tech Center in Würzburg, Germany, we are looking for a

**Team Lead (M/F/d) Cost Calculation (RFQ)**:
**Tasks**:
Your heart beats for fighting for new business and you see yourself as an expert in analysing of requests for quotations and analysis of requirements? Do you think and act in a structured manner and are you confident in calculating what it means to manufacture a product defining the required processes? You are experienced in plastics and lamination? Then come to us.
- Team leadership and managing the team to improve efficiency and know-how
- Technically leading the calculation team
- Monitoring all customer RFQs and ensure timely calculations
- Coaching, training and feedback to employees
- Carrying our annual appraisal of employees
- Training of new processes and documentation and ensuring sustainable use
- Strategically advising internal clients in costing
- Supporting the 1st feasibility (design and process), analysing and proposing solutions (technically and economically)
- Performing continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation
- Reporting directly and technically to our global branch calculation manager, even though you are disciplinary linked to the General Manager of the Tech Center site in Würzburg
- Receiving and analysing customer requests for quotations including all requirements (legal, customers, regulatory and internal)
- Technical contact with our customers and partners and working closely with our sales team
- Managing the RFQ team with the other internal department (quality, logistics, manufacturing etc.)
- Preparation of bills of quantities considering the economic and technical objectives
- Determination of quantities, processes and machinery
- Calculating the cost of parts (materials, components, processes, cycle time and operators)
- Computing the cost of tools (moulds, gauges, assembly gigs, welding machines etc.)
- Implementing a project and tool schedule
- Creating technical files to explain and show the hypothesis take on the quotation
- Evaluation and preparation for quotations
- Arrangement of project budgets
- Explaining the cost internally and in front of customers
- Participation in negotiations with customers and partners

**Profile**:

- Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
- Fluent in English and German
- Professional experience in a comparable position desirable
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the automotive industry
- Experience in managing international multidisciplinary teams
- Strong ability to think, act and communicate in an interdisciplinary and structured manner
- Self-confident appearance and enthusiasm for team leadership in complex automotive projects
- Knowledge of design and processes in the automotive plastic industry
- Passion for figures and the ability to connect technology and commerce
- Capability to accompany the continuous progress of improvement of procedures and optimization of tools
- Responsible entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Commitment, motivation, cooperation and flexibility
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong knowlegde of the RFQ strucures of German car manufactures
- Good user skills in MS Office and necessary tools for this function (i.e. 3D viewer)
