HV Capital has a team of more than 40 investment and operations professionals who provide a variety of perspectives and expertise across the venture capital landscape. **We're looking for a Working Student to join our Early-Stage Investment Team for at least three months (5-20 hours/week) starting as of February 2025.** **About the role**: Our team seeks a motivated Working Student to help with sourcing and data-driven projects. As a Working Student in our Investment Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our deal flow by supporting our sourcing activities. You'll work with the team to identify, pre-qualify, and evaluate top investment opportunities. **Key responsibilities**: - ** Lead Pre-Qualification**: Review and research leads to align with our investment focus. - ** Data-Driven Sourcing**:Enhance our sourcing tools and processes to find high-potential startups. - ** Ad-Hoc Support**:Help with research, analysis, and project operations as needed. **What we are looking for**: - ** Academic Excellence**: You are currently enrolled in a top-tier university program (preferably in Computer Science and/or Business, or a related field) with outstanding results. - ** Relevant Experience**:Experience from internships or working student roles in fast-paced environments like startups, venture capital, or consulting. - ** Analytical and Curious**: Strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and intellectual curiosity. - ** Passion for Tech and Startups**:Interest in tech and startups while knowledge of venture capital is a plus. - ** Collaborative and Communicative**:Collaborative, empathetic, and excellent communicator. - ** Tech and Tools Savvy**:Familiarity with data tools, automation scripts, and crawlers is a big plus. - ** Entrepreneurial Mindset**:We value a "punch above your weight" mentality, whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or just understand the hustle. - ** Self-Starter Attitude**:Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setup. - ** Availability**:5-20 hours/week with flexibility for at least 3 months. **Why join us?** In recent years, HV has nurtured more than 70 interns and working students, with many launching their careers in our ecosystem.
