The primary role of the Senior Facilities Specialist “SFS” is to oversee Westinghouse offices in Germany.

(Other locations in our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) sites may be included in the future).

Responsibilities include coordinating and administering the activities of the facilities to ensure efficient operation of Westinghouse’s buildings, sub-lease spaces (as appropriate), equipment, and exterior grounds.

A key part of the role will be the oversite of the Integrated Facilities Management (“IFM”) team who is responsible for the daily maintenance of the buildings. This will include:

- evaluating their performance
- approval of maintenance spending
- ensuring that the proper process and procedures are being followed.

The SFS develops and leads the implementation of building changes, policies, practices, and procedures as required to support business needs or operational improvements. Additionally, the SFS is expected to communicate to management on safety concerns and implement best practices to assure employees and contractor safety is maintained at the highest level.

**Main responsibilities**
- Technical Leadership
- Communicate effectively and continuously to Facilities Operations, Facilities Project Management and when appropriate to cognizant site management.
- Understand and effectively manage the needs of the individual business units in collaboration with the Facilities goals and budget constraints.
- Oversee and maintain third party contracts
- Understand and adhere to administrative procedures and processes.

**Experience required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilties Management, Engineer or Architectural
- Five or more years of experience in Managing Facilities or facilities related field
- Knowledge and understanding of facilities related computerized maintenance management systems, space planning software, life safety systems and proficient in Excel, Power Point, SAP and CAD
- Certification in Facilities Management or related field in Project Management
- Fluent German, English
