The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg is the largest solar research institute in Europe. For our group “Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Cells Scaling” we are looking for a student assistant with the opportunity to write a thesis at the earliest opportunity.
**What you will do**
- The aim of your thesis is to investigate the influence of process parameters on the coating in order to achieve the best possible material quality and homogeneity of the perovskite absorber.
- Your tasks include planning and conducting experiments.
- You characterize the coating.
- You evaluate and interpret the results.
- You document your results cleanly and conscientiously, summarize them and present them both internally and externally.
**What you bring to the table**
- You are studying materials science, crystallography, chemistry, physics or a related field.
- Previous knowledge in the field of tandem solar cells or perovskite is an advantage.
- You have a basic knowledge of the characterization of solar cells or semiconductors or want to delve deeper into this.
- You plan and complete tasks independently and with high quality.
- You work independently and with commitment.
- You can express yourself confidently in German and/or English.
