About the role

An Information Security Officer is responsible for all aspects of our information security system. It is a cross-cutting role that not only works with the engineering team but also with all other teams in order to define, document, and implement security measures, and ensure Userlane’s compliance with our security commitments to our customers.

**Your mission**:

- Build-up and operate our Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Create and maintain Userlane’s security policies and procedures
- Manage our information security risk management and define measures to treat our risks
- Evangelize and implement security best practices across the company
- Manage security audits and implement the related controls
- Conduct internal audits to ensure continuous compliance with our security standards
- Implement security monitoring tools and act on potential alerts and information security events
- Work with the engineering team to make sure secure coding practices are being followed
- Perform vulnerability scans and and define remediation plans
- Conduct security awareness training programs across the company
- Perform security assessments of 3rd party vendors
- Create and communicate reports about our information security level
- Ensure a continuously improvement of our ISMS

**Your profile**:

- Experience managing information security systems in a cloud-native / SaaS environment
- Experience managing information security audits and certifications (ISO27001, SOC2)
- Experience with writing enterprise-class security policies
- Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g. HIDS/NIDS)
- Experience working with key management systems
- Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and their implementation
- Deep Understanding of Risk Management Frameworks
- Problem solving ability and attention to detail
- Relevant experience in Information Security, ideally in a SaaS company
- You love technology, usability and working with amazing products
- You like to solve problems and balance structure against creativity
- You share information and skills you’ve gathered with the team
- Excellent communication skills - fluent in English, German is a plus
