Omni Sales Team is a new unit within our Regions, with full Omni customer experience ownership - on both a regional and country sales market level. This unit will set and drive an omni commercial and customer plan based on an insight driven approach to grow and engage the customer base. Additionally, the Omni Sales Team will manage omni regional assortment and stock strategy according to customer demand.
As Demand & Supply Planning Specialist you drive the overall buying process for %-market store, teaming up with merchandise managers and you set stock management strategies such as Sale and rolling stock management actions together in line with buying strategies, again with Merchandise Managers.
You have a broad understanding for how supply chain works end to end meaning; assortment office, allocation, stock optimization, logistics setup and operations plus store operations.
You have a deep understanding in store technical buying and stock management. You drive your results through a high level of salesmanship, great analytical skills and a structured way of working.
You are a result driven, curious and inventive team player that get things done.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Drive overall store buying process for %-market
Set the %-market buying strategy and defined selling, stock and reduction cost targets in alignment with Regional commercial Strategy and BUs direction
Run analyzes of customer group/concept growth potential to identify opportunities and recommend strategy in collaboration with Merchandise Mangers
Rolling FUP of selling & stock forecast to proactively identify needed actions on buying and stock management actions
Coach Merchandise Managers in setting bottom-up sales and buying plans. Drive the sales planning and buying process for the Merchandise Managers
Tight collaboration with Online region for extensive understanding of OMNI strategies and targets and drive total OMNI strategy development
Stock management and Sale
Set Sale Strategy for store with technical frames and synchronize with Online
Support Merchandise managers with strategy and technical analysis to enable best possible commercial decisions on detail and total
Rolling collaboration with Regional Demand Planner and Merchandise Managers to understand current challenges and stock management needs
Forecast and FUP of reduction costs with Regional Omni Demand Planner
OMNI synchronization and strategy development with Online counterpart
Drive and roll out developments
Constant exploration and implementation of how to improve the field of buying and stock management in region. Bring successful examples to the global supply chain support team
Be a part of developing the global supply chain agenda and initiatives as business expert
Roll out way of working of new initiatives in region in collaboration with global support team
Education
University degree in economics, engineering business, management or equivalent.
**Skills**:
Deep understanding of Store buying, %-market buying and assortment office
Deep understanding of Stock management strategies and practices
Broad understanding of logistics, allocation, store operation and OL sales
High analytical skills
High level of salesmanship
Advanced Excel user
Structured way of working
Collaborative personality and good communication skills
Experience
2 years min experience from assortment office or merchandising
Experience from other analytical roles are meriting
Experience from merchandise manager or roles within supply and demand are meriting
