Our client, a large-sized commercial company located in Hamburg, is looking for a Head of Demand and Planning (M/F/d) who will be in charge of all demand planning activities from weekly forecasting to inventory planning for high-growing strategic consumer brands.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic environment oversee the development of innovations and promotions, and make sure the availability of the products is 100%.

Tasks
- Generate weekly demand forecasting while analyzing all demand drivers
- Work with marketing and sales teams to understand what are the launches and promotions and how those would impact the sales baseline
- Analyze past activities, discounts, and the impact on sales to reflect for the future plans
- Make sure we operate with ideal inventory levels which represent the relevant market response times
- Responsible for stock management of warehouses across Germany and make sure the stocks replenished rightfully
- Coordinate the supply with production and 3rd party suppliers to make sure products available 100%
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure the success of planning activities

**Requirements**:

- Preferably an engineering background
- Proven track record of managing and planning consumer goods or B2C business
- At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical skills and data-driven mindset
- Profound knowledge and practical experience of analytics platforms
- Previous working experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
