Recovery Care Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
The Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) to wounded, ill and injured Service members to ensure they get the non-medical support they need to create the life they want. The RCC works closely with each Service member, families and recovery team to develop a Comprehensive Recovery Plan (CRP). This plan identifies the Service members’ and families’ goals and the resources they need to achieve them, such as assistive technology, education, employment, or housing. The RCC uses the plan to guide Service members and their families along the road to recovery, rehabilitation and return to duty or reintegration into the civilian community.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Military experience (senior-level SOF or Medical NCO) and familiarity with DoD and VA medical systems is highly preferred
- Proof of U.S. citizenship may be required
- **Active security clearance required**

**Knowledge**:

- Extensive knowledge and experience with service members and/or case management experience preferred
- Clear understanding of HIPAA and adhere to patient confidentiality standards prescribed by the medical treatment facility providing care for the WII service member
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**Abilities**:

- Able to work in an ambiguous environment and prioritize/meet deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-starter requiring mínimal supervision
- Articulate in both verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
