Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, or legal field or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in a commercial agreements environment at a technology company or in a legal environment focusing on technology customers/agreements
- Ability to speak and write in German fluently

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience working analytically and solving problems with business judgement
- Knowledge of commercial Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Understanding of business recognition and SOX compliance in the context of complex Software as a Service and cloud services
- Ability to present analyses in a clear and compelling manner
- Ability to work efficiently with sales and internal departments such as finance and legal

**About the job**:
As a Partner Deal Strategist for Google Cloud Global Business Practices, you will provide agreement structuring and guidance to the Google Cloud Sales organization as well as prepare tailored agreement packages for Google Cloud Partners. In addition, you will contribute to the scalability and efficiency gains in internal processes that impact the overall customer experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage complex day-to-day agreement creation processes. Work closely with Sales representatives to articulate customer requirements, business cases, and agreement value to several and sometimes dissimilar stakeholders.
- Act as the first point of contact for Sales teams in the Opportunity to Cash process. Work with those teams to create a mutually agreeable commercial proposal within the remit of the Global Business practices team or in collaboration with internal stakeholders/approvers.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to Sales on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support the business effort. Advise Sales on objection management techniques, alternative agreement options, and/or value propositioning to help drive agreement closures.
- Build productive relationships and feedback loops with Global Business Practices programmatic teams and Legal, Finance, Sales, Pricing, and Product teams to drive agreement efficiencies.
