**Vacancy**:Head of Finance (f/m/x)**:

- We are looking for a Head of Finance (f/m/x) to start immediately for our client, a company based in Frankfurt.

For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.

**Your Responsibilities as **Head of Finance (f/m/x)**
- Lead of the Accounting Team, giving coaching and support
- To prepare the financial statements in accordance with IFRS accounting rules on a monthly basis ensuring their their accuracy and completeness and production on a timely basis
- To help establish control functions to ensure proper oversight of internal financial control, to define an implementation plan that includes Governance, policy, processes and controls
- Responsibility for submissions of accurate VAT Reporting, Corporation Tax Reporting and Year-end Fiscal audits, Transfer Pricing Compliance and ownership of the relationship with the German Tax Authorities
- Production and review of monthly P&L and financial reports ensuring their accuracy in a timely and controlled manner
- Monitoring and controlling the intercompany amounts of PL and balance sheet
- Supporting the audit compliance process (external and internal)
- Liaison with peers within the broader local and European Finance teams and wider support functions to ensure a constant flow of information
- Respond to ad-hoc queries from Management within the agreed timescales

**Your Qualification and Skills**
- University degree in Economic or Business Administration
- Ideally at least 8 years of meaningful professional experience, including experience of Finance
- Investment & Corporate Banking experience
- Strong people leadership skills and experience
- Knowledge in legal, financial modelling and compliance
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP
- Proficiency in English and German
