**Job Description**:
Job Responsibilities:
An opportunity to lead the finance function in Spectrum, with a focus on building a scalable and well controlled fousndation for growth, whilst meeting all local financial and regulatory requirements. This role has support from IG Group functions and an Assistant Financial Controller and Finance Operations Centre of Excellence based in Krakow. The Spectrum Head of Finance is a key leadership role in the business and will provide valuable input and insight for new initiatives and project, as well as business performance.

Key responsibilities will be:
Financial reporting and control:
- Responsibility for all statutory financial reporting for both annual accounts and periodic regulatory returns (including both IFRS and German GAAP reporting requirements)- Liaison with BaFin, Bundesbank, external auditors, tax inspectors and advisors for annual, interim and taxation audits and reviews in relation to the Spectrum statutory entity- Monthly review and ownership Spectrum balance sheet and P&L, working closely with the Group Financial Control team to ensure overall review sign of- Responsibility for the month end close process for Spectrum, including oversight of centralised financial control activities- Responsibility for production, review and distribution of monthly management accounts for Spectrum and other finance driven board papers and MI as required- Ensure Financial Control risks are being identified, investigated, managed and reported within established guidelines- Ownership and maintenance of process documents and manuals for all control and processes within the remit of this role

Regulatory and taxation:
- Responsibility for all tax and regulatory reporting requirements, including transfer pricing, direct and indirect tax- Key finance liaison with local regulator(s) with regards to regulatory permissions, reporting and reviews- Preparation and completion of local tax returns- Ensure compliance with local reporting requirements and that these are appropriately set up and regularly reviewed for changes in legislation /requirements

Commercial Finance:
- Working closely with the Spectrum board and Group Financial Planning function to deliver budget and forecast submissions within agreed deadlines, including active input and responsibility for financial forecasting of new initiatives in collaboration with the European Finance Business Partner- Work closely with Finance Change and project teams for the development of new processes and implementation of effective controls as Spectrum expands

General responsibilities:
- Build and develop strong business relationships within the business in particularly across the Spectrum environment ensuring clarity or roles, independence of data and efficiency of systems and processes.
