Let’s make it happen** **The role**: You'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of our group financials while mentoring a dynamic and collaborative team of Group Accountants working closely with our Director of Accounting. You'll have the chance to influence strategy and enhance processes in a multicultural environment. Positioned at the core of our Finance Team, you'll directly impact Emma's growth. **What You'll Do**: - Manage the group consolidation of financial statements for 25+ entities, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. - Prepare financial statements according to IFRS and German GAAP (HGB). - Coordinate audit schedules and liaise with external auditors. - Mentor and lead a team of group accountants, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Develop, implement, and enhance internal controls and accounting policies. - Improve existing accounting workflows and increase efficiencies by automation and implementation of process improvements. - Work closely with other finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. - Be a proactive member of our entrepreneurial culture by sharing your financial leadership and problem-solving skills. **Who We're Looking For**: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in audit or group accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. - Strong IFRS and HGB/German GAAP knowledge. - Business fluency in German and English. - Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of developing teams. - A strategic mindset with strong analytical and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - A team player with a "can-do" attitude, embracing our "one team, one dream" philosophy. - A professional qualification (e.g. StB, WP, CPA, ACCA) is a plus **What we offer**: - Responsibility and decision-making authority from your first day - The opportunity to work on challenging tasks that contribute to your professional growth - Work independently and as part of a dedicated, international team - The opportunity to help shape our company culture - Make an impact initiating new ideas - Work with and learn from experts in diverse fields - Get to know your team members at our exciting company events - Working from a pet-friendly office **Become an Emmie** Emma is transforming the world of sleep - **and we want the highest-performing people to help us pull it off.**We want you.
